Live from the World Economic Forum in Davos
Reuters is back next week at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. We’ll be interviewing guests such as Linden Lab CEO Philip Rosedale, Linden Lab Chairman Mitch Kapor, Robert Scoble, and Tim O’Reilly, live in front of a Second Life audience at the Reuters Auditorium.
These interviews are a chance for Second Life users around the world to take part in Davos. You can submit questions in advance by emailing adamreuters@gmail.com, or attend the interviews themselves and submit questions through a moderator.
Throughout the week, we will be updating the 2008 Davos Coverage schedule at the top of the right-hand column on every page. You can check back on the site for the latest interview times. We may also have some other exciting guests by next week.
(Note that all times listed in the schedule are Central European Time, which is nine hours ahead of Pacific Standard.)

Isn’t Robert Scoble banned from Second Life? Or am I misreading this:

We tried to get Microinsurance on the World Economic Forum Agenda but were not successful. Meanwhile, by the opening of Davos, we will have opened Microinsurance Island on Second Life. Maybe next year, the organizers will have the wisdom to recognize this important phenomenon that is bringing insurance to the rural poor of the world.

Just b/c Scoble’s banned doesn’t mean someone can’t puppet an avatar while he does an audio interview.
