After receiving input from residents at office hours, Reuters will be opening its Second Life blog to comments. All comments will go into a queue, and will be moderated for content.
The following guidelines apply to all blogs on Reuters.com, including this one:
- We moderate all comments and will publish everything that advances the post directly or with relevant tangential information.
- We reserve the right to edit comments in order to maintain the quality of the comments, and may not include links to irrelevant material.
- We try not to publish comments that we think are offensive or appear to pass you off as another person, and we will be conservative if comments may be considered libelous.
Happy commenting!

Thu Dec 13, 2007 10:12am PST@aratis Thanks for the note.
I’m kind of playing it by ear. I want to avoid getting drawn into debates nitpicking details of my stories. But I read everything and will comment/reply as seems prudent, sure.

Fri Dec 14, 2007 4:12pm PSTAs a former ink stained wretch (it was that long ago) I am amazed at Reuters lasting presence in sl. It’s probably an interesting and frustrating portion of your beat.
Sweet.
I like the Reuters articles very much.
Professionally written (obviously enough) and good content.
Being able to provide and read good talk-backs will only add to the interest factor.
